Rodné číslo generator

Rodne Cislo is the unique number, the "Birth Number", assigned to every single person living in Czech Republic. This number consist of 10 digits in which first 6 digits are derived from date of bith and the sex of the person. The remaining 4 digts are the random digits which give uniqueness to the birth number and it can be and can be anywhere between 0000 and 9999. This number considered valid if it is divisible by 11 with no remainder.

People born before the year 1954 has birth number in same format but contains only 9 numbers and it is not divisible by 11.

How to construct Rodné číslo?

The first two digit in the birth number is the last two digit from person's year of bith.

The next two digit in the birth number is dereived from the month of persons' bith date. If the person is a female then 50 is added to the month. For example: if the date of bith is 02-12-1976 then for female the first 4 digits would be 7662 but for male it would be 7612.

The next two digits are the date part in the date of birth. As per the above example the first 6 digits in the Rodne Cislo for a female is 766202 and for a male is 761202.

The last four digits are generated randomly in such a way that the combined number should be divisible by 11 with no remainder. For the above example the generated Rodne Cislo for female could be 7662023732 and for male could be 7612028490.

Who issues the Rodne Cislo?

If a person is born in Czech Republic then the Registry Office issues the Birth number.

If a person is an inhabitant or a foreigner without resident permit or a foreigner student or an individual whose whose birth number has been requested by the Czech Social Security Administration could contact Ministry of Interior - Department of Administrative Activities.

If a foreigner is having resident permit or a foreigner who have been grante international protect could contact Ministry of Interior - Department for Asylum and Migration Policy.
